Akik House is a distinctive villa conceived as a singular piece, with a clear narrative and a visual set designed to hold its positioning from the first touchpoint. The commission took place in Alsancak, North Cyprus, and brought our three services together as one system: property branding, architectural visualization, and design consulting for landscape and interiors.
BergaGonzález developed the brand identity and naming, defined the visual identity and the editorial system, and delivered web design and a luxury book as real estate presentation assets. To ensure an accurate representation of the setting, we travelled to Cyprus to study the local light and surroundings through photography and drone footage. This material served as a direct reference for visualisations and as visual content for the book.
The guiding concept was The Gem of the Valley: a singular discovery within a valley of pines between the Kyrenia mountain range and the Mediterranean. Akik means agate in Turkish, and that reference structured the narrative with precision. The agate palette guided the project’s art direction, from color to sheen and depth, so brand and imagery share the same visual language. Scenes were designed to work across different moments of the day, with skies, light and restrained accents calibrated to echo the different agate colors.
The result is a collection of architectural renders that deliver commercial clarity and memorability, grounded in visible decisions that raise the perceived standard of the residence.
The identity was articulated through an editorial piece conceived as an object. An approximately 140-page book protected by a sleeve that reinforces the gesture of opening the stone and revealing the gem. The cover features a green agate treated with a glossy 3D finish and selective spot varnish, while the interior is structured in chromatic chapters, each color tied to a specific energy that sets pace and direction.
Matte Fedrigoni Special Papers stock, spot varnish reserved for photography, and a layflat binding support an editorial system that communicates Akik House with precision and a meticulous level of refinement carried through every detail.
The same approach shaped the architectural visualization. The set was planned as a sequence, alternating wide frames, mid shots and close-ups, so each image offers a distinct reading. Exterior renders were developed with light temperatures aligned with the project palette. Indoors, the staging prioritized atmosphere and use, with a direct reading of spaces and circulation.
Light works as a tool for legibility: it sharpens edges, changes how the glass reads, and turns the garden into a lived backdrop. Lighting conditions were designed to explain the house across the day and to sustain the link with the agate narrative, with controlled skies and restrained chromatic accents.
In terms of materiality, the architecture combines timber, stone and glass with a restrained, precise approach, letting form and light carry the visual weight. Design consulting helped consolidate key interior decisions that set the overall standard of each space, from furniture selection to finishes and detailing, introducing stone and other materials in a way that stays consistent with the agate concept. That curation results in a single, coherent reading across interior and exterior, communicated through precise, visible decisions.
The project is supported by a clear set of sales materials: brand, editorial piece, website, and visualization set. This coherence allows Akik House to be presented with sophistication and exclusivity, at a standard aligned with its commercial ambition.
